American stand-up comedian, actor, and country music singer born Daniel Lawrence Whitney on February 17, 1963, in Pawnee City, Nebraska. Performs in character as a Southern blue-collar everyman whose catchphrase is "Git-R-Done." Member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White (2000-2003).
Released a series of stand-up comedy albums (some with country-music elements) starting with Lord, I Apologize (2001). Voiced Mater in the Cars film franchise (2006-present).
