Killswitch Engage

American metalcore band formed in Westfield, Massachusetts in 1999 by guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (later moved to producer), guitarist Joel Stroetzel, and others. Vocalist Jesse Leach (1999-2002, 2012-present) and Howard Jones (2002-2012) have been the band's two primary singers.

Nine studio albums including Alive or Just Breathing (2002), the breakthrough self-titled second album (2004), As Daylight Dies (2006), Disarm the Descent (2013), and Atonement (2019). Considered foundational to the "New Wave of American Heavy Metal" alongside Lamb of God and Shadows Fall.
