Stage name of English singer-songwriter Wesley Stace, born October 22, 1965, in Hastings, East Sussex. Adopted the stage name (a reference to the 1968 Bob Dylan album) for his musical career starting in the late 1980s; uses his birth name for his novel-writing career.
Released over a dozen studio albums between Here Comes the Groom (1990) and Pleased and Thank You (2020). Author of four novels including Misfortune (2005) and Charles Jessold, Considered as a Murderer (2011). Hosts the Cabinet of Wonders variety show in New York.
