American hardcore band formed in Cleveland in 1988 by Dwid Hellion (vocals, the band's only continuous member). Long-running lineup also included Aaron Melnick (guitar, 1989-2003) and various other members. Style fuses metallic hardcore, sludge metal, and occult imagery.
Released over a dozen studio albums starting with Those Who Fear Tomorrow (1991). Best-known releases include Humanity Is the Devil (1995, an EP), Seasons in the Size of Days (1997), and Howling, for the Nightmare Shall Consume (2017). Dwid Hellion runs the Holy Terror Records label.
