Insane Clown Posse

American hip-hop duo formed in Detroit in 1989 by Violent J (Joseph Bruce) and Shaggy 2 Dope (Joseph Utsler). Known for their face paint, horror-themed lyrics, and the dedicated subculture of "Juggalo" fans. The annual Gathering of the Juggalos festival has run since 2000.

Eighteen studio albums under the "Joker's Cards" concept series and beyond. Best-known releases include The Great Milenko (1997), The Amazing Jeckel Brothers (1999), and The Wraith: Shangri-La (2002). The duo also runs Psychopathic Records, which has released material by Twiztid, Boondox, and others.
