American metalcore band formed in Boston in 2000 by vocalist Spencer Charnas. Long-running lineup also includes Dan Sugarman (guitar) and Patrick Galante (drums). Distinguished by horror-themed concept albums; nearly every song on the band's recent albums is inspired by a specific horror film or novel.
