American rock guitarist born March 2, 1960, in Lowell, Massachusetts. Distinguished by his blend of blues, hard rock, and instrumental surf-rock arrangements. Briefly considered for the Ozzy Osbourne band in 1987 before Zakk Wylde won the gig.
Released over 20 studio albums starting with Animal Instinct (1993). Best-known releases include Endless Summer II (1994, a surf-rock instrumental album), Bug Alley (1996), and the Christmas-themed Ho! Ho! Hoey series (1995-2003). Continues to tour with his own band.
