American singer born Francesco Stephen Castelluccio on May 3, 1934, in Newark, New Jersey. Best known as the lead vocalist of the Four Seasons (1960-present, intermittent). Pursued a parallel solo career starting in 1967.

Released over a dozen solo studio albums. Commercial peak: "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" (1967), "My Eyes Adored You" (1974), "Swearin' to God" (1975), and "Grease" (1978, the theme song to the film). Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Four Seasons in 1990. The 2005 Broadway musical Jersey Boys chronicled the Four Seasons' story and became a long-running theatrical hit.
