American rock band formed in Cleveland in 1993 by Richard Patrick (vocals, formerly the touring guitarist for Nine Inch Nails) and Brian Liesegang (multi-instrumentalist, 1993-1997). Patrick has been the band's only continuous member since the original duo split.
Nine studio albums between Short Bus (1995) and The Algorithm (2023). Best-known releases include Short Bus (featuring "Hey Man, Nice Shot") and Title of Record (1999, featuring "Take a Picture"). Liesegang and Patrick have collaborated occasionally since the 1997 split. The band has been continuously active with rotating supporting musicians.
