American girl group formed via the second season of The X Factor (USA) in 2012. Original lineup: Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello (departed in 2016). Brought together as solo contestants and reassembled by judge Simon Cowell.
Three studio albums: Reflection (2015), 7/27 (2016), and Fifth Harmony (2017). Best-known singles include "Worth It" (with Kid Ink), "Work from Home" (with Ty Dolla Sign), and "Down" (with Gucci Mane). Cabello's departure in late 2016 led to legal disputes; she has since become a successful solo artist. The remaining members began indefinite hiatus in 2018.
