American glam metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1986. Long-running lineup centered on Taime Downe (vocals). Other key members included Brent Muscat (guitar, 1986-2001), Greg Steele (guitar, 1986-1992, 2001-2007), Eric Stacy (bass, 1986-1993), and Mark Michals (drums, 1986-1993).
Four studio albums starting with Faster Pussycat (1987). Best-known release: Wake Me When It's Over (1989, featuring "House of Pain"). The band shifted toward industrial rock after their late-1990s reunion. Downe has remained at the helm through frequent lineup changes.
