American pop-punk band formed in Seattle in 1979. Long-running lineup: Kim Warnick (vocals/bass, 1979-2001), Lulu Gargiulo (guitar/vocals, 1979-2001), Kurt Bloch (guitar, since 1979), and various drummers — Mike Musburger and Mike Stewart were the most consistent.
Nine studio albums between Every Day Is Saturday (1985) and The Question Is No (1999). The band toured with Pearl Jam in the mid-1990s, gaining a substantial post-grunge audience. Released primarily on Sub Pop, Lookout!, and various smaller indie labels. The band has performed sporadic reunion shows since 2001.
