American heavy metal band formed in 2022 as a side project of Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters). The name and concept emerged from the 2022 horror film Studio 666 (in which Foo Fighters play themselves and encounter a fictional 1990s metal band called Dream Widow).
Released one studio album: the self-titled debut (2022), credited entirely to Grohl on all instruments and vocals. Style is significantly heavier than Foo Fighters output, drawing on classic doom metal and 1990s alternative metal influences.
