Released three studio albums: The Chronic (1992), 2001 (1999), and Compton (2015). The Chronic is widely regarded as foundational to G-funk and one of the most influential hip-hop albums ever. As a producer, has shaped careers including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and others. Co-founded Beats Electronics (sold to Apple in 2014 for $3 billion). Six Grammy Awards. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with N.W.A in 2016.
