American rap rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1990. Lineup: Rey Oropeza (vocals), Rogelio Lozano (guitar), James Morris (bass), and Chris Lee (drums). Influential to the development of the rap-metal hybrid alongside Rage Against the Machine and Body Count.
Five studio albums between 1994 and 2014, including the self-titled debut (1994), Do We Speak a Dead Language? (1996), and Universal (2000). Released primarily on Mercury and Epitaph. The band has performed intermittent reunion tours since the mid-2000s.
