American punk rock band formed in Manhattan Beach, California in 1977 by Frank Navetta (guitar), Tony Lombardo (bass), and Bill Stevenson (drums). Singer Milo Aukerman joined in 1980, giving the band its longtime visual identity. Pioneers of pop-punk and "nerdcore" — short, fast, melodic songs about adolescence, love, and food.

Eight studio albums between 1982 and 2021. Aukerman regularly departed for academic pursuits (he holds a PhD in biochemistry); during his absences, the remaining members performed as ALL with various vocalists. Key albums: Milo Goes to College (1982), I Don't Want to Grow Up (1985), All (1987), Everything Sucks (1996), Cool to Be You (2004), Hypercaffium Spazzinate (2016).
