American rapper born Teren Delvon Jones on August 12, 1972, in Oakland, California. Cousin of Ice Cube; first gained prominence through Cube's Lench Mob Records. Member of the Hieroglyphics collective along with Casual, Souls of Mischief, and others.
Released seven studio albums starting with I Wish My Brother George Was Here (1991, featuring "Mistadobalina"). Best-known releases include No Need for Alarm (1993), Both Sides of the Brain (2000), and Eleventh Hour (2008). Also a member of the Damon Albarn-led virtual band Gorillaz on the singles "Clint Eastwood" (2001) and "Rock the House" (2001).
