American rock band formed in 2015. Lineup: Bob Weir (guitar/vocals, formerly of the Grateful Dead), Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann (drums, also formerly of the Grateful Dead), Oteil Burbridge (bass), Jeff Chimenti (keyboards), and John Mayer (guitar/vocals).
The band performs Grateful Dead material across extended touring schedules — including arena and stadium runs. After a 2023 "final tour," the band began a long-term Las Vegas residency at the Sphere in 2024.
