American ska-punk band formed in Berkeley, California in 1989 by Operation Ivy alumni Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman (both before Rancid). Vocalists Karina Denike and Elyse Rogers anchored the band's long-running classic lineup, with Armstrong and Freeman departing early to form Rancid.
Five studio albums between 1989 and 2002, including Lockjaw (1995), Honey, I'm Homely! (1997), and Purr (1999). Released primarily on (510) Records and MCA. Active intermittently since 2002.
