American country band led by Dale Watson (born October 7, 1962, in Birmingham, Alabama). Watson has positioned himself as a defender of traditional honky-tonk and Bakersfield-sound country in opposition to mainstream Nashville production trends.

Released over 20 studio albums starting with Cheatin' Heart Attack (1995). Best-known releases include I Hate These Songs (1997), From the Cradle to the Grave (2002), and Call Me Insane (2015). Has owned and operated the Continental Club, a major Austin music venue, and the Big T Roadhouse in St. Hedwig, Texas.
