Japanese metalcore band formed in Osaka in 2006. Long-running lineup: Kenta Koie (vocals), Kazuki Takemura (guitar), Hiroki Ikegawa (bass), and Tatsuya Amano (drums, 2006-2020). Style fuses metalcore with electronic music, including extensive use of synthesizers and drum machines.
Five studio albums starting with The Artificial Theory for the Dramatic Beauty (2009). Commercial peak: Apocalyze (2013) and Xeno (2015). The band has been a fixture on European and Japanese metal festivals; significant US touring with Bring Me the Horizon and Architects.
