Canadian hard rock band formed in Toronto in 1980. Long-running lineup: Carl Dixon (vocals/guitar), Andy Curran (vocals/bass), Steve Shelski (guitar), and Dave Ketchum (drums). Named after the Coney Hatch psychiatric hospital in London.
Four studio albums starting with the self-titled debut (1982). Best-known releases include Outa Hand (1983) and Friction (1985). The band split in 1985 and reunited for tours and the 2013 album Four. Dixon was severely injured in a 2008 car accident in Australia but recovered.
