American rock band formed in Methuen, Massachusetts in 1995. Long-running lineup: Stephen Brodsky (vocals/guitar), Adam McGrath (guitar), Caleb Scofield (bass, died 2018), and John-Robert Conners (drums). Style has shifted across albums from hardcore through post-metal to alternative rock and back.
Seven studio albums between Until Your Heart Stops (1998) and Heavy Pendulum (2022). Best-known releases include Jupiter (2000) and Antenna (2003, their major-label debut). Scofield died in a car accident in March 2018; the band returned with Final Transmission (2019) featuring his final demo recordings.
