Cannibal Corpse

American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1988. Long-running lineup centered on Alex Webster (bass) and Paul Mazurkiewicz (drums) — both since formation. Vocalists: Chris Barnes (1988-1995) and George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher (1995-present). Among the most commercially successful and influential death metal acts in history.

Fifteen studio albums starting with Eaten Back to Life (1990). Best-known releases include Tomb of the Mutilated (1992), The Bleeding (1994), Vile (1996), and Kill (2006). The band's graphic album artwork and lyrical content have led to bans of their material in multiple countries.
