American country duo of Kix Brooks (born May 12, 1955, in Shreveport, Louisiana) and Ronnie Dunn (born June 1, 1953, in Coleman, Texas). Active 1990-2010, reunited 2015 for select projects. One of the best-selling country duos in history.
Released ten studio albums between Brand New Man (1991) and #1s... and Then Some (2009). Commercial peak: Waitin' on Sundown (1994), Borderline (1996), and If You See Her (1998). Won the Country Music Association's Vocal Duo of the Year 14 years in a row (1992-2006). Each pursued solo work after the 2010 split.
