American comedy rock band formed in Trappe, Pennsylvania in 1988. Long-running lineup: Jimmy Pop (Jimmy Franks, vocals), Lupus Thunder (guitar), Evil Jared Hasselhoff (bass), and various other members. Distinguished by deliberately juvenile, scatological, and offensive lyrics.
Five studio albums between Use Your Fingers (1995) and Hard-Off! (2015). Commercial peak: Hooray for Boobies (1999, featuring the international hit "The Bad Touch"). The band has been on extended hiatus since the mid-2010s.
