American reggae band formed in San Diego in 1986. Long-running lineup: Quino McWhinney (vocals), Lance Rhodes (drums), and various other members. Considered one of the best-known American reggae acts to emerge alongside Sublime in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Released multiple studio albums starting with Wake Up (1992). Commercial peak: their 1994 reggae cover of Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way," featured on the Reality Bites soundtrack. Subsequent releases include Resistance (1995) and Free Up (1997). The band has continued to tour and record sporadically.
