English-American hard rock supergroup formed in 1972. Trio of Jeff Beck (guitar/vocals, formerly of the Yardbirds), Tim Bogert (bass/vocals, formerly of Vanilla Fudge and Cactus), and Carmine Appice (drums/vocals, also of Vanilla Fudge and Cactus). Beck had attempted to form a band with Bogert and Appice as early as 1969 before they joined Cactus.
Released one studio album: the self-titled debut (1973), featuring a cover of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" (which Wonder had originally written for Beck). The trio dissolved in 1974 amid creative differences. Beck pursued a more jazz-fusion-oriented solo career thereafter.
