Canadian rock band formed in Scarborough, Ontario in 1988. Original lineup: Steven Page (vocals/guitar, 1988-2009), Ed Robertson (vocals/guitar), Jim Creeggan (bass), Andrew Creeggan (keyboards, 1988-1995), and Tyler Stewart (drums). Kevin Hearn replaced Andrew Creeggan on keyboards in 1995.
Sixteen studio albums starting with Gordon (1992). Commercial peak in the US: Stunt (1998), featuring the #1 hit "One Week." Robertson and Page co-wrote the theme song for The Big Bang Theory (2007). Page departed in 2009; the band has continued as a Robertson-led quartet.
