Australian alternative rock band formed in Perth in 1993. Lineup: Dave Johnstone (vocals/guitar), Allan Balmont (drums, died 2017), and Simon Hensworth (bass). Distinguished by their punk-influenced indie-rock approach and minor commercial success in the late-1990s Australian alternative scene.
Two studio albums: Mint 400 (1995, the title song was a top-20 Australian hit) and Eleventh Avenue (1997). The band dissolved in 1998 amid label conflicts and personal disputes. Balmont died of cancer in 2017.
