Six Flags’ New Site

Through my love for coasters and skills as a web developer, I always find it interesting when one of the major players in the industry does a redesign. Even more interesting is when a large chain does it.

The Six Flags website has always grouped all the parks together for as long as I can remember, but it seems that over time, the focus is lost and each individual park’s site takes on it’s own identity. The compan, having been through a lot of changes in the last couple of months, seems to be taking an interest in rebuilding the brand. Their new website looks like the first step.

Check out the new site and post your comments. There are a lot of things that still need work, but overall the site has a nice little “pop” to it. All the items are meticulously groomed and the color scheme is near flawless.

We will have to wait and see where it goes from there.
